OOTD: 70s Mustard, Local Parks and Wondering Where Summer Went

by - Wednesday, November 25, 2015

As I write this, I'm in two-day old pyjamas with unbrushed hair, tucked up in bed and desperately popping cold & flu pills, so not exactly the image of blogger perfection. Still, I thought it might aid my recovery to think of summery thoughts, which is when I remembered these pictures that I took in August and never remembered to post, my bad.

I'm super lucky to live near a gorgeous park, so it was a bit of a no brainer not to take some shots there in one of my favourite dresses this year - a cute little mustard number from yes, you guessed it, eBay. Originally purchased to wear to The Chelsea Flower Show, it was handmade using 70s fabric, a lovely almost aztec wallpaper pattern that was right up my street. It got a lot of wear with this H&M cardigan and Clarks sandals that I've been coveting for years and finally bought - a great purchase that I'm already itching to get out again next spring. If it ever comes...
