Leeds Festival 2015

On friday I was lucky enough to be invited by the lovely folk at Relentless Energy Drink to spend the day at Leeds Festival! As a music journalism graduate and long term lover of the festival I wasn't going to say no to seeing some of my fave bands, especially now I live down the road and could go back to my own bed after a day's dancing.

With my brother in tow, we checked out the likes of Jamie T, The Maccabees, Ghostpoet, Years & Years and loads more, but my absolute favourites had to be The Cribs (so many tunes) and Kendrick Lamar, making a play for my third favourite rapper - after Kanye and Drake of course.

While I was there under the capacity of a music review, I wasn't going to miss the opportunity to talk my brother into a few outfit shots. I took the opportunity to sport three 'new to me' pieces - vintage shorts, my new 'Support Your Local Girl Gang' tee and this vaguely ridiculous-yet-great bomber jacket that I picked up in my local chaity shop especially for festivals. It's amazing what you can get away with outside the conventions of 'normal' life.
