October Lust List

Another month, another lust list. This one is a little late as I have been settling into my new job as a full-time copywriter in Leeds. It doesn't leave me quite as much time to blog, but it does mean one thing - hello regular paychecks! Don't expect to see these lists fill up with diamond incrusted loafers and cashmere coats just yet, but hopefully I'll be able to treat myself to one or two items for real each month...hello ASOS sale!

Olivia Burton Watch
I'm completely smitten with the delicate gingham print of this watch that perfectly counteracts it's masculine size.

Miss Patina Westminster Dress
I'm not sure whether this dress might be a little too close in resemblance to childhood pyjamas, but I think that's why I like it so much - so comforting, cute and v. Cath Kidston.

Burts Bee's tinted lipbalm
Burts bees are just the best right? Their tinted lipbalms are a surefire way to inject some subtle colour to that pout whilst still keeping it moisturised, a must as the weather gets colder,

Wilkinsons weekly planner
My new job requires writing for lots of different clients at once, and as I like to keep my filofax for personal engagements and projects, I could really do with a less formal pad for my desk. This Wilkos number is currently out of stock but I've signed up for email alerts when it returns. An utter bargain at just £2.50

Yumi for Modcloth dress
Plaid? Check, Scalloped hem? Check. Mid length sleeves? Check. Modcloth strike again, and I'm almost powerless to resist.

Cable knit tights
I'm in desperate need of some winter tights in aaaall the autumnal colours. If anybody has any recommendations, let me know - I always seem to end up with ones that bobble, lose all elasticitity in the waist or are highly succeptible to holes in the toes.

Zara mustard handbag
Having checked out this beauty instore when searching for a work bag, I was forced to admit that it was a little too small for my everyday use, but nonetheless, I still think it's lovely. Maybe Santa will be kind this year...

Dorothy Perkins brogues
I'm really torn at the moment between buying a pair of good quality brogues or some low top DM's for winter, and whilst I think DM's might win out in the end due to their hefty grip, these brogues are really chic and pretty reasonable at just over £30.
