August Lust List

by - Thursday, August 14, 2014

Hooray, my 100th post! Thankyou so much to everyone who's liked, commented and shared kind words so far on Jenessa Likes To Write. I've dabbled in other lifestyle and fashion blogs before but they've always fallen by the wayside, so I'm really proud that this is a place which I'm happy with and have lots of ideas to help it progress in the future.

But enough of the sap! Here's what I've been hovering my mouse over the 'purchase' button for...

Lazy Oaf Anorak
The pastels! The print! The waterproofyness! I'm so in love and wish I could afford to snap this jacket up before Leeds Festival next weekend. Still, a girl can dream (and make do with her Primarni pac a mac)

Lily & The Lamplight Two Piece
Specialising in two-pieces and kimonos, Lily & The Lamplight are a go-to brand for summer at affordable prices. I am completely sold on this seaside print in the navy - even though the print is super-summery, the shade brings it down a notch and ensures that both pieces could be worn well into autumn.

Jamie T 'Carry On The Grudge'
I bagged my ticket to the Leeds leg of the tour (thanks o2 Priority!) and now cannot wait for Jamie T's new album. He went away for so long that I'm really expecting something pretty special, but from the singles I've heard already I don't think I'll be let down.

HoobyNoo World Sausage Dog Necklace
It wouldn't be a JLTW lust list without something involving sausage dogs, so I had to include this adorable little necklace which I found on etsy. Perfect for adding some fun to an otherwise simple outfit.

River Island for ASOS Sandals
With summer fast coming to an end, I'm still after a pair of sandals which are comfy but capable of transitioning into autumn when accompanied by a pair of tights. These cuties are currently down to £24 on the ASOS website so I may have to treat myself before they sell out.

Yumi Polka Dot Dress
Yumi are absolutely killing me at the moment with their summer sale, but I think this dress is my favourite pick. The fabric is heavy and absolutely beautiful, plus the colour and polka dot print is so timelessly fun and classic. I can just imagine throwing on a white cardi and little pumps before running off strawberry picking.

Topshop Denim Shirt
Another item I've been searching for forever, this £34 staple is maybe a little pricier than I would like, but it's exactly the non-fussiness I've been looking for to wear over dresses and tucked into a skater skirt.

Ikea Brakig Bowls
A cheeky little bit of homeware which would be just perfect as fruit bowls, for cereal or even just to stack in our glass fronted cupboard to admire. Yep, I've got it bad for this print.

Britstitch Mini Satchels
It seems every blogger and their perfectly groomed puppy are fans of BritStitch, but it's easy to see why when you visit their website. Beautifully crafted and in an array of pretty colours, I love this little pastel number.
